Ly Bui is Managing Director of Aixem Software since 2017. Aixem Software provides custom, boutique software development and IT consulting services to companies such as Verizon, Moxie, PearlNet, Pmg, and The Salvation Army. Ly and her husband (Robert) started Aixem Software (their 3rd startup) in 2016. Prior to Aixem, Ly was with IHG – InterContinental Hotels Group at their Americas HQ in Atlanta for 11 years.

Ly attended Emory University and has over 25 years of work experience included, but not limited to, (all things) Human Resources, Operations, Marketing/Branding, Customer Success. Ly’s passion will always include interacting, elevating and supporting others socially, economically, empathetically.

Ly is from Vietnam and came to the US in 1975 with her family because her father worked at the US Embassy in Saigon. Ly met her husband at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics Games when she was on staff for the Atlanta Organizing Committee. Ly’s husband (Thanh Nguyen – goes by Robert) was competing as an Olympian on the US Weightlifting team.

As a member and or volunteer / supporter, Ly is involved with organizations such as NAAP (National Association of Asian Professionals); Girl Talk (an international non-profit peer-to-peer mentoring program specifically for high school and middle school girls); Atlanta Community Food Bank; National Mentoring Partnership (Howard Schultz [Starbuck’s CEO] nonprofit; American Cancer Society…to name a few.
